Why I Go To Work Everyday?
Helping individuals and companies be successful financially is highly rewarding. Making small decisions today to save, invest, and plan, work towards creating big results and make dreams of college, retirement, owning a business, planning a large vacation, and more a reality.
Working with businesses and their key leadership team to create a successful retirement plan involves planning, details, and a focus on always improving. I enjoy the team effort, learning about our clients’ business and delivering solutions.
I love what I do, who I get to do it with, and the results it produces.
How Did I Get Here?
I started with a finance and insurance degree from Illinois Wesleyan University; and began my career in Chicago working with fortune 500 companies. In 1993, I became a financial advisor following a family tradition lead by my father. I have been honored to be trained and mentored by some of the brightest and most successful advisors. During this time I have earned several designations, as we believe constantly improving your knowledge and sharpening your saw are keys to delivering value to our clients. These include: Accredited Investment Fiduciary AIF®, Certified 401(k) Professional C(k)P®, Chartered Life Underwriter CLU, Chartered Financial Consultant ChFC, and Chartered Advisor in Senior Living CASL.
Why I Care About This Industry?
Planning financially for the future is something everyone needs and should do. Our industry promotes good decision making and encourages individuals and companies to plan today, creating benefit programs that make a difference to employees. We can make a material difference by our communications, actions, encouragement, and follow through promoting saving and investing today for a wonderful and amazing future. I was designed to be part of this plan.
Who I Really Am . . .
I am many things – a business owner, a promoter for my clients, a wife to Bryan, a mother of twins, and designed by God to be the best of what he created for me to be. I love to travel and hope to hike all the national parks in the US and travel to every continent. I enjoy watching cross country meets, staying active and being outdoors, golfing, spending time with my family, and trying new adventures. Ask me what I’m doing this year to challenge myself.
